Our friends over at Autoweek have gotten word that when the Fiat 500 comes to North America you will only be able to find it at your local Chrysler Dealer. Many were wondering whether Fiat would choose to establish a new dealer network for its upcoming vehicles, but the Fiat 500 is expected to be a relatively low-volume seller and as such a full dealer network would not be necessary. The Fiat 500 will probably be featured in a special section of the Chrysler dealerships as to separate them from the regular Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles. A big question is whether Chrsler staff will be able to handle the Italian pronounciation of the sporty models such as the Abarth SS Giardiniera or if the salespeople will know how to deal with the very different clientele that the Fiat name will attract. Only time will tell.
