2011toyotasienna_stock_013

The 2011 Toyota Sienna was unveiled at the L.A autoshow last week. The design conforms largely to the new face of Toyota as seen on the Venza. A new 2.7L 4 Cylinder engine will be available on the Sienna and Sienna LE models, the current 3.5L V6 will still be available for the Sienna and Sienna LE models. The 3.5L V6 will be standard on the new SE model as well as the XLE & XLE Limited models.  The SE model will be the sportier model and will feature larger 19″ Wheels as well as a more aggressive suspension.  Another new feature to look for is the Reclining 2nd row captains chairs with footrests on the top of the line models (Can be seen in the gallery). Official press release after the jump. The 2011 Sienna is expected to hit showrooms towards the middle of 2010, but why wait! We have over 50 Toyota Siennas in stock right now, several 2008 & 2009 models available! Call us to setup an appointment and come in to view our vehicles.

Saturn-Penske Deal falls apart, Saturn to “wind-down”

saturn logo

Could the Saturn brand really be dead? Unfortunately the answer is a yes. Autoblog has just gotten word that the deal that Penske was working on to purchase the Saturn brand from General Motors has fallen apart. There were major concerns about where future product would be sourced from after the initial period where GM would have been supplying the vehicles.  It was first rumoured that Penske would turn the Saturn brand into a Costco sort of company where it would sell vehicles produced by other makes under its own brand. That rumour turned out to be false of course. The next thought was that Penske had a deal in the works with Renault’s Korean subsidiary but the Renault-Samsung board rejected the idea.

If you were in the market for a new Saturn don’t worry, you will still be able to have your vehicle serviced at any local GM dealer. If you are in the market for a pre-owned vehicle come visit us in Mississauga, we have a wide selection of pre-owned vehicles that would be a great alternative to a new Saturn. Visit our website at www.autodome.ca

Press Releases from GM & Penske follow the jump.
